Where is Supreme Wendys based and where do you deliver?
We are based at 41 Old Grahamstown Road, Swartkops, Gqeberha. Our fully mobile teams deliver and install across the entire Eastern Cape, including East London, Jeffrey’s Bay, Humansdorp, Joubertina, Grahamstown (Makhanda), Port Alfred, Alexandria, Cradock, Graaff-Reinet, Port St Johns and Aliwal North. How long has Supreme Wendys been in business?
We have over 15 years of experience building Wendy houses, log cabins and specialized cabins across the Eastern Cape. Over the years we have completed hundreds of projects for homeowners, farmers, businesses and schools — each one built to the same high standard we’re proud of.
Do you offer a guarantee on your structures?
Yes. All Supreme Wendys structures come with a guarantee against roof leaking. We stand behind every build we complete. If you experience any issues related to our workmanship, contact us and we will sort it out.
How do I get a quote?

How long does it take to build and deliver a Wendy house?
Build and delivery times depend on the size and complexity of your structure as well as your location. A standard Wendy house is typically completed within 1–2 weeks from confirmation of order. We will give you a clear timeline when we provide your quote.
Do I need to be home when the structure is delivered and installed?
We recommend that someone is present on the day of installation to confirm placement and sign off on the completed work. If that is not possible, please let us know in advance and we can make alternative arrangements.
Product Questions
What is the difference between a Wendy house and a log cabin?
Our Wendy houses are built using our louvered style design — fine overlapping pine boards that create a waterproof, lightweight and attractive structure. They are ideal for storage, home offices, outside rooms and live-in units.
Our log cabins are constructed from thicker horizontal pine logs, giving them a more rustic, heavy-duty feel. They are built for long-term use and provide excellent insulation and security. Both options can be fully customised to your requirements.
What is the difference between light duty and heavy duty construction?
Light duty structures are built using 19mm x 76mm treated pine boards and are ideal for storage, garden rooms and general purpose use. Heavy duty structures use 32mm x 102mm boards with thicker framing, making them suitable for live-in cabins, workshops and any application where extra strength and longevity are needed.
Can I customise the size and layout of my Wendy house or cabin?
Absolutely. We work closely with every client to plan the right size, layout, door and window placement and any special features. Whether you need a small 2x2m storage unit or a large multi-room cabin, we can build it to your exact specifications.
What foundation options are available?
We can build your structure on three types of foundation depending on your site and budget:
- Stilts — ideal for uneven or sloped ground and also for bigger longterm projects
- Brick piers — a solid and cost-effective option for most sites
- Concrete base — the most permanent and sturdy foundation option
We will advise you on the best option for your specific site when we do your quote.
Can a Wendy house be built on a slope or uneven ground?
Yes. Building on stilts is a great solution for sloped or uneven ground and is something we do regularly. Just let us know about your site conditions when you request a quote and we will factor this into our planning.
Do the structures come with windows and doors?
Yes, all our structures include standard windows and doors. We can also accommodate custom sizing and placement for windows and doors to suit your specific needs. Additional features like security doors, burglar bars and extra windows can be discussed when we plan your build.
Are your structures waterproof?
Yes. Our louvered style Wendy houses use fine overlapping treated pine louvre boards that are designed to keep rain out. We also guarantee against roof leaking on all structures we build. Our log cabins are similarly built to withstand the South African climate.
Can I use a Wendy house as a permanent living space?
Many of our clients use their Wendy houses and log cabins as permanent outside rooms, domestic worker accommodation, student accommodation and granny flats. We recommend choosing our heavy duty construction option for any live-in application, and a concrete base for maximum stability and longevity.
